Digimon's Personality:Gabumon has a personality to rival Koden's. He also acts as the voice of reasoning, which is good when Koden is rushing head first into every situation without weighing the possible outcome.
How/When You Met Your Partner: Koden and Gabumon met over an internet dating site, seriously. While he was trying to get a homework assignment done, an ad for a dating site came up. Misclicking the exit button, he ended up being dragged to the website, where he saw Gabumon's digital form for the first time, because he had somehow gotten into the mainframe. The two had a very brief conversation, due to Gabumon's rather depleted condition, and it ended with Koden agreeing to help him out. Without any further questions, he was pulled through to the digital world to start on a new journey. But the goal was still unknown.

Situation of the character's birth (where, when etc): Koden was born out in a small town in Alaska back in the 90s. In his household, it was just him, his father, and his older brother, who was pretty much his polar opposite.
How/When Your Character Arrived In the Digital World: After moving from Alaska to San Diego, California, Koden found himself talking to one of the computers in his school's tech lab. After a few short sentences, the teenager was sucked into the computer, where he met his partner flesh to flesh for the first time. Most people would be shocked, but for Koden it was as though he had been reunited with an old friend, like he was missing something prior to their friendship coming into existence.
Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10): Most of his childhood consisted of him hating Alaska, due to how cold it was..and the people. To make up for his lack of compassion for others, he spent most of his time competing with those around him, regardless of how much bigger or faster they were.
Teenage years (11 - 19):The same thing as his younger years, honestly. It's just that girls started coming into the equation. Meaning that he would let them win every now and then, simply because he was intrigued by the opposite sex.
