Digimon's Personality: It holds a lot of scorn for those around it, except for its tamer, for which there is a mutual respect. Because of that, it’s quick to get angered or hateful to others, and often has to be calmed by Keiji.
How/When You Met Your Partner: He met his partner shortly after arriving in the Digital World. He found Impmon, with as many wounds as it has to this current day. It’d just recently lost a battle against an Ultimate-level Digimon, and had barely escaped with its life. It heard of the power that humans possessed to make Digimon become stronger, and upon seeing Keiji, wanted to make use of that power. It told Keiji that it wanted this power, so it wouldn’t have to experience such a massive defeat ever again. After speaking with Keiji, it agreed to always protect the boy and be his ‘weapon’ of sorts. It was something akin to making a deal with the devil.

Situation of the character's birth (where, when etc): He was born in Tokyo, hurriedly, and in a hospital during the middle of the night.
How/When Your Character Arrived In the Digital World: Keiji arrived in the Digital World when he was sixteen. He was wandering the slums of Tokyo as he usually did, and found himself in a dark alley. He wasn’t afraid of alleys like these, because he didn’t fear death. If he were to be mugged, he had nothing that would be stolen, so he went in it. He could hear an odd call, so he walked toward it. As he walked deeper into the alley, he realized it was far too long to be normal. The moment he realized this, he could see a pattern of digitalized, pixelated green and yellow swirling around him and entrapping him, and afterwards, he was quickly sucked in and spewed out into a rocky wasteland.
Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10): As a baby, he was taken care of adequately by his parents. They gave the amount of love any other couple would’ve given to a child. It didn’t take much for them to take care of him. As time went on, his father lost his job, and his mother took the burden of taking care of Keiji. They still managed, but adequate quickly turned to sub-par. By the time Keiji was four, his father still hadn’t gotten another job and began to blow most of his money on alcohol to ease the nagging of his wife to get a job, which only worsened the situation. Keiji experienced hunger for the first time, as his mother decided to go to school again, and was struggling to pay for both Keiji’s needs and the budget for learning. On Keiji’s fifth birthday, his mother and father divorced, with his mother taking custody of him. Things were never really the same. Even though he was better off with his mother, she was only a kindergarten teacher herself, and didn’t make much money. There were often days when Keiji didn’t have anything to eat, but he was too young to know the existence of the entity known as ‘blame’, so he loved his mother still. He supported her as best he could, even stealing the occasional meal so she wouldn’t have to worry about feeding him. This relationship continued until Keiji turned ten, before it began to deteriorate.
Teenage years (11 - 19): As Keiji entered his pre-teen years, he was a bit smarter. He realized his situation, why he was hungry, why he didn’t enjoy the standards of living his class-mates had, was because his mother was poor, and he didn’t have the support of a father. It went largely unnoticed by the adults in his life, but he was ostracized and insulted by his peers because naturally, he didn’t have much. He dressed in the same clothes often times, and showed up to lunch without any food often. They laughed at the poverty he conveyed, and were able to figure out that his parents were divorced, which was a taboo in his neighborhood. He needed an outlet for the feelings that he began to develop. For the first time, he could feel hatred, and he could feel anger. He was being picked on because his mother left his father. He was being picked on because she couldn’t afford to even maintain a standard, average lifestyle. This hatred became targeted at his mother, and it only grew because he had no one. No friends, and with these feelings for his mother, he didn’t even have her. He hated the other children at school, and because they never made fun of him in front of the teachers, they didn’t believe him, so he hated them too. He became the outcast very quickly, so the torment of his classmates continued now that he had that title, all the way until he was sixteen. He abruptly dropped out of high school. His mother allowed him too. She no longer cared for him. She thought of him as unfair, and saw him as nothing more than a hateful, spiteful boy. Keiji didn’t mind. He turned to alcohol, remembering that it’s what his father did. It helped him cope with the pain of living. As he wandered through the slums of Tokyo, he stumbled upon his portal to the Digital World, and it was there that he met his partner, and the only companion he ever knew – Impmon.
