Yes, but it will need a good system so the lveling etc. will still make sense

I like the idea, yes.
I feel it should be more:
Level 1: In-Training
Level 5: Rookie
Level 12: Champion (Strangely, once you get to 11 it levels up 2x)
Level 24: Ultimate
Level 45: Mega
Level 71: Super-Mega (For those willing to skip regular)
That is, with the addition of in training
